Martyrs and Ghosts is an upcoming solo exhibition of work by Amelia Rafle at the Artworks gallery in Richmond, Virginia. The work in this show explores ideas of vigilant morning and the strength of collective grief in the time of the climate crisis.

See or Seem, Dream within a Dream featured work by Catherine McDonald, Lindsay LeBlanc, and Amelia Rafle speculating upon the past, present, and future of our shared ecosystems. Taking its title from the Edgar Allen Poe poem, this show entangles the human experience with imagination. Micro and macro ecologies intertwine within multimedia installations, drawing upon current climate data and Earthly material histories. 

​Taking its title from Kevin Kelly’s concept of Protopia, this exhibition was an experience of past, present and future ecologies. Artists Amelia Rafle, Catherine McDonald and Lindsay LeBlanc seek out alternative visions within a fear-driven world; an imaginative and entangled existence.
